The “perfection” of Our Great High Priest

In our study of Hebrews, the author summarizes the saving work of Christ with this statement in v. 2:10. For it was fitting that he, for whom and by whom all things exist, in bringing many sons to glory, should make the author of their salvation perfect through suffering. We will consider the wonderful way Christ’s people are described and the great privileges that are theirs. We will also consider what it means that Jesus was “made perfect,” and the way that happened. Finally, we will consider the wonderful enduring effects of his being made perfect and the encouragement that is for us.
