This is the third parable that Jesus tells describing the coming judgment and reversal of the kingdom of heaven. This parable, like the parable of the tenants, is told from the king’s perspective. In this parable the great insult to the king is emphasized. We also see the reason for evangelism.
1. The great blessing of the kingdom.
2. The two great insults to the king.
3. The concluding lesson of the parable. (v. 14)
4. The continuing ministry of the church.
