The Death of the Son of God

The death of Christ without the resurrection is powerless. But the resurrection without understanding the cross is meaningless. In the morning sermon, we will be considering the death of Christ as described by the Apostle Matthew. The text is Matthew 27:45-54. We will consider these three points from the text:
1. What happened on the cross and how Jesus died.
2. The effects of his death.
3. Application to us today.
