After considering the importance of corporate prayer for the church, we will consider Jesus’ encouragement for the church to persevere in prayer. In this parable, Jesus gives us a great contrast with the unfaithful judge and our heavenly Father. He also gives us an example in the widow woman. And Jesus applies the parable in a surprising way, reminding us that God will answer all the prayers of his church and that prayer is the great exercise of faith.
