We know that marriage is under attack in many ways today. But this is not something new. Marriage has been under attack from the very beginning. Here, we see the low view of marriage by religious conservatives of Jesus’ day. Jesus corrects their low view by pointing to God’s created intent for marriage. Yet, Jesus also declares that marriage is not for everyone. What Jesus says shocks even his disciples. Scripture reference is Matthew 19:1-12
