Joseph: a Prophet in Prison

We continue to study the life of Joseph. While Joseph is in prison, he serves as a prophet of the Lord. The Lord is preparing him for his future work. Joseph faithfully serves where the Lord has called him. In the interpretation of these two dreams, we will see the two destinies that are awaiting all people, judgment or salvation. Joseph is faithful as a type of Christ and also as an example for believers. The text is Genesis 40.

We will consider the following points:
1. The context of Joseph’s ministry.
2. The two dreams and their interpretation.
3. The patience of Joseph.
4. Application to us today.
a) Joseph is a type of Christ.
b) Joseph is an example of a believer.
