In the face of all the political unrest and growing hostility to Biblical Christianity, we need confidence in Jesus’ ongoing ministry in the world today. That is the foundation of all our hope and all our ministry as a church. We can have that confidence as we see Jesus’ ministry fulfilling the promises of Isaiah 42:1-4. That is what we find in our text in Matthew 12. The text is Matthew 12:14-21. We will consider these points:
1. The nature of Jesus’ ministry in this world.
2. The manner of his ministry.
3. The promised success of his ministry.
4. Implications for our faith today.
