An Appeal for the Unity Among the Weak and the Strong

Paul deals with a problem that confronts every growing church. He makes an appeal for unity among the weak and the strong. Paul reminds us of the Lordship of Christ and how our understanding of his lordship frees us to welcome one another without passing judgment on one another. We will consider the issues that confronted the Roman church and make application to our situation today. The text is Romans 14:1-12. The message is entitled An Appeal for Unity Among the Weak and the Strong. We will consider these four points:

2. The main exhortation (v. 1)
3. Two temptations to avoid.
4. Instruction and encouragement for our faith.
