What does it mean to “fear the Lord?” How is this consistent with faith and love? In the evening, we continue in Deuteronomy with the exhortation of Moses to learn the fear of the Lord. We need to consider the great acts of God’s judgment and discipline. We will also see the fulfillment of his mighty work in the work of Christ and how the New Testament encourages us to exercise the fear of the Lord, which is an aspect of faith.
