Genesis 2:16-17
Genesis 2:16-17
Genesis 3 (text v. 21)
We will conclude our series on Genesis. The text will be Genesis 50:22-26. We will also consider Hebrews 11:22. Joseph is not only a type of Christ but also an example of faith to us
We will continue in the study of Genesis, and our text will be Genesis 50:15-21. After the death of Jacob, his sons are plagued with guilt because of their mistreatment of Joseph. Here is a wonderful revelation of the answer to a guilty conscience.
We will consider the death of Jacob as recorded in Genesis 49:29-50:14.
Our text in the evening message, Genesis 49:1-28, includes a key messianic prophecy.
Our text will be Genesis 48.
Reference: Genesis 47:13-31 We have seen how Joseph is a type of Christ. But Joseph is also a civil servant who serves the people of Egypt under Pharaoh. Sermon outline: 1. The wise administration of Joseph in Egypt. (vv. 13-26) 2. The contrast between Egypt and Israel. (v. 27) 3. Jacob’s pilgrim mindset. (vv. 29-31)…
We will see how God brought Israel to Egypt and we will consider his plan to preserve his people there. The text is Genesis 46-47:12. Of particular concern for us will be the questions: How are we to live as pilgrims in this world? What encouragement and instruction do we have for our faith?
We are continuing to study the life of Joseph. In our text, Joseph finally reveals himself to his family. We will consider the fulfillment of this in Christ and its significance for our faith today.
