We finally come to the great salvation God accomplished for his people. This is the first part of the deliverance, which will be complete at the Red Sea.
Jesus is confronted by a Pharisee who was an expert in the law. Here we see Jesus’ teaching concerning the law. He answers the Pharisee’s question and shows the simplicity and spirituality of the law.
We will be considering the Lord’s instruction regarding the Passover and looking at this in light of the fulfillment in Christ.
We continue in Matthew 22 where Jesus is approached by the Sadducees, who do not believe in the resurrection. They attempt to stump Jesus with a question about the resurrection.

We’ll look at Exodus 17 and 18 and see a representative picture of the religious and moral corruption of Israel.
In Exodus 11 we see the introduction to the final plague. We will consider these four points from the text: 1. God’s justice displayed in the plague. 2. God’s grace of election revealed through the plague. 3. The completeness of salvation. 4. The fulfillment in Christ.
